How It All Began

AL-Badr is a Sudanese sanitary products company headquartered in Alsouq Almahly, Khartoum. The company is the sole proprietorship of Mr. ABDELMONEIM ALEMAM. AL-Badr was founded in 2001 as a cotton production company producing cotton wool for both, personal and medical use. It’s considered one of the top 3 companies in Sudan.

In 2008, Al-Badr expanded in the production of baby diapers using GMD manufactured machines. As a result, it considered one of the very few companies in this field in Sudan and became the largest production and distribution company in Sudan in 2013. In the year 2015, the company started producing its first local production which was sanitary napkins and tissue paper. In the same year, the company turned to Al-Badr Company for Sanitary Products and became the first integrated company

in this field in Sudan.
